Solo Singer Marianne Lihannah is a highly trained and experienced solo singer who has specialised in singing at funeral services.
As an experienced Funeral singer and performer, she is equally at home with singing in large and small churches, crematoria as well as singing by the graveside or in the home etc. If a backing track is needed, either for singing at the grave side or in a church, where they don't have any sound system, she can bring her busker speaker and mic if needed. She already owns many high-quality backing tracks.
She sings with sincerity and compassion as a funeral singer. And she always feel honoured to be part of such an important family occasion.
Marianne's ethos is that every performance is of equal importance and that preparation is the key to ensuring that in her role as a Funeral singer, she will always give of her very best. She endeavours to be helpful, flexible and understanding and to make sure that the arrangements for the Funeral or Memorial Service are handled with the utmost respect and sensitivity. Each Funeral is very personal to her and she understands how important the choice of music is for a family.
If required she can advise on funeral song choices. This is a service which is included in the fee. She has an extensive selection of songs and hymns available not included on her websites, so please feel free to contact her and she can deal personally with any requests that you may have.
Marianne has sung in countless churches, chapels, crematoria and cathedrals, including, Brecon Cathedral, Gloucester Cathedral, Chartres Cathedral, Malmesbury Abbey, and St John the Baptist Parish church in Cirencester, to name a few of the larger venues. But she equally loves just as much to sing in small or medium sized churches and crematoria, as well as by the grave side. Her singing has been featured on a number of radio programmes quite a few times over the last years. Also as part of an interview about her work as a funeral singer on the radio.
